DIY Wreath

Image
Random #37 A WREATH!! YAY! I love making wreaths for all kinds of occasions or holidays. It used to be more of a Thanksgiving or Christmas thing, but now there are so many awesome examples of wreaths for all times of the year.  Since we are getting into the Halloween spirit over here I decided to make my wreath a deeper color pallet with purples, blacks and hints of yellow and orange.  Everything I used was purchased at Dollar Tree. The total cost of supplies for both wreaths was about $8  They just look so deathly sophisticated. ;)  I can dig it.  I hope you do too.  Here are few pics of the process.  Dollar Tree FTW!!! Until next time... keep getting crafty with it.

Engraving on Glass

Image
Random #74  I got the opportunity to use my glass engraver this time. It's a bit hard to get use to since it vibrate quite a bit and it will impact the direct result of you handwriting. So its good to practice with it a bit on different thicknesses of glass and to practice your writing or just forming lines and making thing more or less bold.  The glass engraver that I got was purchased at Harbor Freight here is the link (  ELECTRIC ENGRAVER  ) incase you want to order it online otherwise, go to Harbor Freight! ITs a cool place for crafters, builders, & DIYers. The best part its super affordable and will open you mind to trying something out that otherwise might have been to pricey to try out... like this engraver it was only $8 but I feel like I can get a lot of use out of it for future craft and party projects.  Here are a few picture of the machine and the results of what i was practicing with. I had a great time using it and look forward to using it again. Until next time..

Melted Wax on an Envelope

Image
For day 13, the random number from my creativity challenge list was #16  MELTED WAX ON AN ENVELOPE.  I used some blank stationary and an envelope I had on hand to do this along with some permanent markers to write on the front and inside a little.  The wax melts and wax melting set up pictured here were purchased separately on Amazon.  Since the time I purchased them the price has gone up a bit but I will link them  below the pictures so that you can check them out if you want. Here's the stuff. ;) The Front + Inside were kept pretty simple. Melting Furnace wax seal warmer craft pot for stamping. Sealing wax beads in plastic box + wax melting spoon + 2 tea light candles   Letter "V" wax seal stamp-Brass Head (Botanical Alphabet Initial)  I added a few dry flowers to the mix in order to add a little interest and maybe some elegance. WATCH OUT NOW!! oh, yes she did. Looks super cute.  The process is pretty simple and fun once you get going.  I highly suggest you try this ou
