DIY Flower bracelet Jewelry

Image
For Day 12 of my creativity challenge I chose the number 32. That corresponded with JEWELRY.  I wasn't specific with what type of jewelry but I knew I wanted to really challenge myself to learn something new.  I decided to try using seed beading to create a stringed flower pattern. My grandmother had suggested that I try it out, she loves the look of it. So I did.   I watched a few tutorials on Pinterest and got it down pretty quickly. By now I've made a bunch and am officially OBSESSED! Gonna start working on a necklace version of one very soon for my niece. Keep scrolling to check out what I used and how it turned out.  This last picture is of Toni (one of the kids I work with) wearing the flower creation  I made for her as well.  Oh, you fancy.. hu?! ;) Until next time.... keep getting crafty with it.

Cork

For Day 11 I randomly chose #67; on my list that's CORK! For this project I decided to utilize the cork in making some letter stamps that my nephew ( whos in 1st grade) could use to reinforce how words are spelled and the order the letters go in.  Just something a little different than writing the letters/words over and over again.  I drew the letters on the foam; cut it out and adhered it to the cork. We used and ink pad and got to stamping. This was fun to make and fun to use. Marxcelo loved being able to stamp with these unique new stamps.  Keep scrolling to check out how they turned out and how he used them. Yay! Something productive from our excessive wine drinking habits. :)  Until next time... keep getting crafty with it.

Watercolor drawing of a persons face

Hello There!!  The number that I randomly chose for Day 10 was number 27; that means a water color drawing of a person.  This is something that is very intimidating to me. I have been attempting to practice this more and more with pencil and just recently started attempting it with watercolor. This is not the best but I'm happy to continue practicing and developing my skills.  Keep scrolling to check out how it turned out. I enjoyed the process of this and it makes it want to do more of it.  Maybe I'll try painting an actual person I know next time. I'll let ya know.  Until next time... keep getting crafty with it.
